Travel Altar Essentials Box

The experience of connecting with your deeper self can be enhanced with simple rituals, such as- lighting sage and/or a candle or holding a high vibration crystal or stone during meditation. This box contains a selection of items to adorn your altar space and add a ritual element to your spiritual practice. The box and its contents can also be used as a standalone altar.

-Scented Candle in Brass Cloisonné Box: A tiny travel candle that will release a lovely scent in a reusable brass box.

-Citrine Cluster:  Citrine is a stone of manifestation, imagination, and personal will. It carries the power of the sun, and is warm, energizing and life giving. The radiant yellow color will increase the amount of light surrounding the body and protect the aura. It is also a stone of abundance and manifestation.

OR

Peacock Ore (Bornite):  a stone of happiness and joy, it is said to turn you in positive directions, and help channel happiness to others; generally a stone of upliftment, it brings you the ability to see and appreciate the joy available in every moment.

-Nataraja Figurine in Brass or Antique Brass: Nataraja is a depiction of the Hindu god Shiva as the cosmic ecstatic dancer. The birth of the world, its maintenance, its destruction, the soul's obscuration and liberation are the five acts of His dance. Learn more about Nataraja in this article.

-Travel Sage Energy Cleanse Kit: Contains a vial of sage leaves, abalone shell, stand for the shell and a box of matches. Light a single leaf and set in the shell to burn for your meditation, rituals, or when all you need is small amount of sage to freshen the energy of a space.

-Carved Wood Box: A lovely adornment that can be used to carry your ritual items and can serve as an altar as well.

-Brass, Glass, and Amethyst Pendulum and Chart: Using a pendulum is a simple way to access Divine guidance, communicate with spirit via your subconscious, higher self or your guides. Amethyst stimulates the higher mind to receive one’s spiritual power and to open to the insights, wisdom and guidance that is offered.

When using a pendulum, hold the top of chain in one hand over the chart and it to show you yes. It will swing in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction, or may swing to and fro or back and forth. This is the movement for yes. Ask the pendulum to show you the movement for no as well. I do this every time I use  a pendulum as a way to connect with it. These directions can change every time you use it so it is a good idea to establish this baseline every time.

This chart has letters, numbers, planets, and astrological symbols. Each symbol has an identical symbol directly opposite of it. This way, you can identify which letter or symbol you attention is being directed too when the pendulum swings between them.

Check out this great video on how to use a pendulum...

Ritual:
When you have some quiet time for yourself, set up your altar space, arranging the items in a way that feels pleasing to you, including other sacred objects and crystals that you may already have.

Take a moment to cleanse your pendulum of energies it may have picked up before it arrived, you can do this by lighting a sage leaf, and placing it in your shell, then passing the pendulum over the smoke.

Light you candle and meditate on the questions you would like to ask, connecting with your infinite self.

Take some time to connect with your pendulum, you can ask it to tell you what letter your name starts with, this way you can see how it interacts with the chart. The more you use the pendulum the clearer the connection will be.
